I have place my ied bin in same location as hdd viewer but say cant find my bin file. My 1TB hdd is not working.

I can use ps3 hdd utility but it only extracts one file at a time. Just want my savedata before i am forced to reformat. Excellent article…i agree scandisk and chkdsk is just Microsoft crap…keep up the good work. I use scandisk since window 3. I Would be interested in knowing what you use to diagnose disk problems. I have never been a fan of checkdisk. I used to use Norton Disk Doctor back in the day but just wondering if you use anything nowadays that is different from built in stuff?
